Bardsley Construction Wins Bid To Extend Warrington Primary School

Warrington Borough Council has awarded Bardsley Construction a £1.9 million contract to extend a primary school in Westbrook in Warrington, with the build including two single-storey extensions, a new school hall, more teaching space, a new kitchen and a studio work area.

Similar businesses keen to win contracts such as this that have struggled in the past might benefit from making use of a bid writing company such as Encompass Consultancy, which can help simplify the tender process and ensure success.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Bardsley (based in Greater Manchester) will begin work this month (May), with the completion date expected to be in April next year. Existing buildings are also set to be refurbished in order to deliver improved teaching spaces and other facilities, as well as more floor space.

“The winning of this contract is further evidence of Bardsley continuing to benefit from its hard-earned reputation for working effectively with the public sector via partnerships with education bodies, local authorities, housing associations and health authorities,” procurement director at Bardsley Construction Ged Rooney was quoted by the news source as saying.

While there are a lot of opportunities out there for businesses to win contracts and acquire new work, this inevitably means that there will be a lot of competition for these jobs – so you need to know that you’re at the top of your game in terms of bid writing.

If you’re less confident and aren’t sure where to start, there are teams of experts out there that can help. We here at Encompass Consultancy have years of experience and have worked with a wide range of businesses of all sizes so can tailor our services to directly suit your needs.
